Kickboxing

Many styles and rule sets of kickboxing exist. Here at the Bad Boy gym, we teach the Muay Thai and K-1 style’s of kickboxing.  We implement a fine blend between each Martial Art to develop a very precise and advanced technical striking game.

Where classical Muay Thai favours leg techniques over strikes with the fists, the K-1 style training rewards all techniques equally, and favours combinations and forward pressure.

The classes involve pad work, bag work, partner drills and for fighters – sparring.  The fast pace of K-1 style and Muay Thai blend of kickboxing is ideal for training for fitness or for fighting.

Not everybody is required to spar, and if you simply wish to train for fun and fitness that’s fine. If you want to spar you’ll be invited to join in once you have mastered the basics of attack and defence.
