Mixed Martial Arts, or MMA for short, is the combined art of various martial arts disciplines. It draws on elements from BJJ, Karate, Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling and a host of other combat sports. To train successfully in the art of MMA, we will focus on striking, wrestling and ground grappling.
In our MMA classes, you will learn the fundamentals of kickboxing and grappling, learning how to combine those various arts and skills to develop your own personal fighting style.
We will then modify these skills for the cage, with adaptations like wall takedowns and ground and pound. You’ll have the opportunity to practice with our competition sized octagonal cage.
